Keto Bunless Beef Burgers Recipe

This recipe is another one of my go-to meals to stay compliant with my Blood Type O Diet. Beef is amazing in so many ways for Type Os. It provides a quality source of the macros protein and fat, it provides vitamin B12 which support blood cell production and L-tyrosine which support stress management.

I’ve cooked this in so many ways: on an electric skillet in the kitchen, in a glass pan in the oven and on an iron skillet outside on a butane stove. This recipe, resembles the skillet version, but I will comment on modifications you can use for the oven as well. All versions are very easy, as I try to make most of my recipes.

Cookware Supplies

  • Some type of safe-cooking pan:

    • Iron or titanium pan

    • Titanium Electric skillet (I use the temperature of 250 degrees for everything)

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of grassfed beef burger patties

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 6 garlic cloves cut in half (or 1 tbsp of minced garlic)

  • ghee, tallow or olive oil

  • salt

  • paprika

  • garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in the pan.

  2. Place in the garlic, bell peppers and onions. Let them simmer until soft and just becoming translucent.

  3. Place the burger patties on top of the peppers and onions. Season the burger patties. Cover and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Flip the burger patties and the peppers and onions underneath, so that the burger touches the bottom of the pan. Season this side of the burger patties and let simmer for 10-15 minutes or until they are at your desired level of doneness.
